In 2008, eligible members will be honored to receive the prestigious Awards presented by The Institute of Chartered Technical Practitioners of Canada. Successful nominees will receive their awards at the next Annual General Meeting on October 18, 2008 at The Monte Carlo Inn, Brampton Suites, 45 Coventry Road (Airport Road & Hwy #7) Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

The Awards are as follows:

• Fellowship Award
• The Distinguished Technical Achievement
• The Distinguished Services Award

Fellowship Award 'FChTP'

A person may be elected a Fellow by the Council of the Institute in recognition of outstanding contribution to the engineering profession / other specialized technical fields of expertise. A Fellow shall be freed of all initiation fees and yearly dues

The Distinguished Technical Achievement

This award is open to any member for Passionate Pursuit of Technical Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to the Canadian Industry in a specified field of knowledge, practice and expertise. There are no limits to the number of awards to be presented.

The Outstanding Services Award

This award is granted to any member who has distinguished himself/herself with outstanding services to the Institutei. The purpose of the ICTPC's Outstanding Contribution/Service AWARD is to honor unusual dedicated voluntary service to the Institute marked by outstanding performance, demonstrated effective leadership, committed service, devotion, enthusiasm, and faithfulness. This award is open to any Board Member, Member-at-Large and Regional Councilor.
